Eligibility

Undergraduate students currently enrolled in, or will be incoming freshmen in the Fall 2023 term, in any degree program offered by the USA or Canada universities, aiming for careers in medicine or health sciences.

Steps

Create a new CGU Online Application Account by clicking "Sign up" button on the CGU application system, and follow the steps to create a new account. CGU Application System: https://www4.is.cgu.edu.tw/premed/.
In the Application System, fill in the 3 sections, including:
- (1) Personal Information
- (2) The Applicant's Current Educational Background
- (3) Read and Consent to the Privacy & Disclaimers
Save the filled in information anytime, by clicking the "Save" button on each web page, and use the Step 1 account to log in back in order to complete the information.
Click the "Submit" button only when you have completed the above 3 sections. You may still log in back to the application system and click the "Modify Application Data" button to revise the information before the above application deadline.

NOTE: The Applicant must click the "Submit" button in the CGU Application System before the Applicant may proceed to the next step "Upload Documents".

Complete unofficial transcripts (to the most recent term) in PDF/ JPEG/ PNG formats, including all courses taken during the period of your current degree program; print-screens are acceptable.
If you are applying as an incoming freshman, please also upload your university/ college acceptance letter to either of the 3 file upload sections in the CGU online application system; print-screens are acceptable. For transcripts uploads, if you are an incoming freshman, please upload your high school transcripts in PDF/ JPEG/ PNG formats to the most recent term; print-screens are acceptable.
Proof of Payment of the Application Fee USD 50 (NTD 1500) :
This processing fee is non-refundable under all conditions. Please pay USD 50 (NTD 1500) to the following CGU University account, and upload the ""Proof of Payments"" to the folder in PDF/ JPEG/ PNG formats, print-screen is also acceptable.
1. Paying from Abroad:
  The application fee should be remitted to CGU designated bank (see below) through your local bank via Telegraphic Transfer (T/T).
  Please enclose a copy of the transaction receipt through the application system.
  Any transaction fees charged by the bank to facilitate the Telegraphic Transfer must be paid by the applicant. Cash/ Checks/ Money Order are NOT accepted.
2. Paying online with credit card:
  Applicants can pay the application fee online via credit card.
  The payment methods we currently accept are VISA / MASTERCARD / JCB from all countries. Only New Taiwanese Dollar (NTD1500) will be accepted.
The ""Other Supplements"" is not required, if you choose to upload other materials (e.g., media links) to present why you wish to attend the CGU Premed Enhancement Program, please upload the files to this folder; the folder has an upload limit of 20 MB.

The submitted online application with completed file uploads will be reviewed by the program coordinator and the academic directors consist of CGU College of Medicine faculty members. The program review process has begun, and the applicants will receive the admission/ rejection email starting on April 19, 2023 in Taiwan standard time, with the program fee payment details.

The CGU Pre-med Enhancement Summer Program 2023 has begun the rolling admission, and may end the admission prior to the said April 30, 2023 by 24:00 in Taiwan standard time. Kindly complete the CGU online application at your earliest convenience.

Pay the program fee within 10 days upon receiving the acceptance email. You may choose to pay by bank wire (online banking/ mobile banking or in-person), or by online credit card. After payment, please upload the remittance slip or payment receipt to the online application system in PDF/ JPEG/ PNG formats; scanned and photo versions, or screen-shots are all acceptable.

Detailed program fee payment methods will be included in your acceptance email. After the upload of the remittance slip or payment receipt of the program fee, within 2 weeks, the CGU Pre-med Enhancement Program will email you the official acceptance letter with a list of the pre-program announcements and a list of suggested pre-departure preparation. CGU looks forward to meeting you in person in the upcoming Summer 2023!
