Health Certificate for Short-Term Students
(Chest X-ray exam)
There are two required items for the Health Certificate for Short-Term Students:
Pre-arrival item:
Measles and Rubella Immunization Certificates or Proof of Positive Antibody Titers
After arrival exam:
Chest X-ray Exam for Tuberculosis
Students should get the X-ray exam for Tuberculosis within 14 days after arriving in Taiwan (page 3 of Health Certificate for Short-Term Students). OIA will make an appointment for you and notify you the details. The fee for an X-ray exam is NT$610, including NT$100 for the report.
For those who choose to take the antibody tests for Measles and Rubella (provided that you have already been vaccinated) within 14 days after arriving in Taiwan, please notify OIA that you choose to do the antibody tests in Taiwan. We will make an appointment for you and the exam fee is NT$ 662 (including NT$100 for the certificate).
If you will do the antibody tests and X-ray exam together, the total fee will be NT$1,172.
