Student Safety Insurance

Ministry of Education requires exchange students to purchase student safety insurance. The fee is about NT$299 per semester.

Health Insurance

CGU regulations require each exchange student to purchase insurance for the entire period of your stay in your home country before arriving in Taiwan. Please provide proof of Health and Accident insurance (NT$1,000,000, approx. US$36,000) upon registration.

Semester exchange students can join the International Students Group Medical Insurance offered by Cathay Life Insurance Co. through Chang Gung University. This insurance plan will provide basic insurance coverage (illness and accident) for 6 months in Taiwan. The premium is NT$3,000 for 6 months.
