Undergraduate students currently enrolled in any degree program offered by the USA, Canada, Singapore or other countries, aiming for careers in medicine or health sciences.
Steps

Fill in information on the CGU Online Application System
- Create a new CGU Online Application Account by clicking "Sign up" button on the CGU application system, and follow the steps to create a new account. Please create a new account using the same email, even if you already had an account for the CGU Pre-med Enhancement Summer Program. (CGU Application System ).
- In the Application System, fill in the 3 sections, including:
- (1) Personal Information
- (2) The Applicant's Current Educational Background
- (3) Read and Consent to the Privacy & Disclaimers
- Save the filled in information anytime, by clicking the "Save" button on each web page, and use the Step 1 account to log in back in order to complete the information.
- Click the "Submit" button only when you have completed the above 3 sections. You may still log in back to the application system and click the "Modify Application Data" button to revise the information before the above application deadline.

Upload Documents
- Complete unofficial transcripts (to the most recent term) in PDF/ JPEG/ PNG formats, including all courses taken during the period of your current degree program; print-screens are acceptable. If you are an incoming freshman, please upload your high school transcripts in PDF/ JPEG/ PNG formats to the most recent term; print-screens are acceptable.
- If you are applying as an incoming freshman, please also upload your university/ college acceptance letter to "Other Supplements" sections in the CGU online application system; print-screens are acceptable.
- The ""Other Supplements"" is not required, if you choose to upload other materials (e.g., media links) to present why you wish to attend the CGU Pre-med Enhancement Program, please upload the files to this folder; the folder has an upload limit of 20 MB.

Check Status
The submitted online application with completed file uploads will be reviewed by the program coordinator and the academic directors consist of CGU College of Medicine faculty members. The applicants will receive the admission/ rejection email after submitted by 2 working days in Taiwan standard time, with the program fee payment details.
Note: During the Chinese New Year period (Feb 8th to 14th), document reviews will be temporarily suspended. We appreciate your understanding.

Payment
Pay the program fee within 5 working days upon receiving the acceptance email. Only pay by bank wire (online banking/ mobile banking or in-person) in USD (US Dollar) will be accepted. After payment, please upload the remittance slip or payment receipt to Ms. Carol Hsia (premed@gap.cgu.edu.tw); scanned and photo versions, or screen-shots are all acceptable.
Detailed program fee payment methods, official electronic acceptance letter with a list of the pre-program announcements and a list of suggested pre-departure preparation will be included in your acceptance email. CGU looks forward to meeting you in person in the upcoming Summer!

Do I need a visa to enter Taiwan and to attend the CGU Program?
Depending on your passport issuing countries, passports issuing countries such as the USA, Canada and Singapore do not need to apply for a visa to enter Taiwan and to attend the CGU Program within 30 (Singapore) and 90 (USA and Canada) days of stay in Taiwan.
